PilotEdge offers full memberships and Shared Cockpit Only plans for at home use. All include a free trial of our entire coverage area including 5 hours of network time so you can see if it’s right for you. Geographic restrictions only apply when you’re hosting your own flight — every plan, including LA-only and Western Expansion-only memberships, grants access to the full coverage area whenever you join another pilot’s flight as crew or a passenger. If you’re a commercial or educational user, contact us for a custom quote.

Shared Cockpit Only
For pilots who want to fly exclusively in shared-cockpit setups — joining someone else’s flight rather than hosting their own — these lower-cost plans grant access to all PilotEdge areas when you’re connected to a host.
Both tiers let you fly any role in the aircraft (captain, first officer, jumpseater, or passenger) — your hostdecides where to put you. The only difference is radio privileges on the PilotEdge network:
- Crew: full COM radio transmission privileges.
- Passenger Only: COM radio transmission is disabled. The name refers to your network privileges, not your seat in the aircraft; you can still occupy any seat and fly the plane if that’s how your host wants to put you to work.
You’ll connect using your host’s callsign with an “@” suffix (e.g., if your host’s callsign is N123AB, you’llconnect as N123AB@).
